BIO:

Sabet began his coaching career in 1998 when he served as an assistant coach at Artesia High School in Lakewood California. He worked with that program for 3 years helping get the varsity team to the Quarterfinals of CIF. From 2003-2005 he helped guide Kennedy High to 2 playoff appearances with the girls program. Sabet has also had high school coaching stints with Mayfair High, Irvine High and his current position as Head coach of St. John Bosco High School. At Bosco Sabet has elevated the program to top CIF rankings in Div 1 soccer. Bosco has made the playoffs the last 2 years and has become a respected program in CIF Division 1. In addition to his success at the high school level , Sabet has has coached for over 12 years at the club level. Developing 5 different Premier level teams with many of his players moving on to Division 1 soccer. One of his former players by the name of Alex Morgan is currently playing for the Womans US National Senior team and quickly becoming a super star in her own right. Former players are enjoying successful careers at such universities like UCLA, Cal Berkely, UC Irvine, Memphis Univiersity, Brown, CS Fullerton, St. Mary’s, UNLV, Duke, Tulsa, Santa Clara, Cal Poly Pomona, Texas Tech and other top program across the nation. Sabet also has gain experience at the College level working as an Assistant coach with Irvine Valley College mens for one year, Cypress College men’s for 3 years and is currently the Golden West College woman’s assistant coach.
As a player, Sabet spent four years at St. John Bosco where he was a 4 year starter and earn All CIF 1st team his senior year.  He then moved on to Irvine Valley earning all-Conference honors and was the teams top scorer for two seasons then moved to Cal State Los Angeles where he was named to the Second Team all-Conference. He also played semi-professionally for the San Gabriel Valley Highlanders and other top level d2 teams around Los Angeles and Orange County.
Sabet sets an importance on the technical development of the player as the most crucial foundation. As one of the regional directors for Coerver California, Sabet implements the Coerver Method in all teams skills training and development at Cypress FC Premier. All teams follow the pyramid of development with the goal of competing at the highest level in US Soccer.
